Tired and Hungry - I think

It’s a bit hard to tell…

The last couple of weeks have been fun. For those of you who didn’t know, I’ve been being a Freshers Helper. Lots of fun!

It really was as well. The days have blurred into each other; there was free food, drink and sweets; there were many fun people; lots of fun events and lots of cool freshers.

Though I am partially deaf after Live Music on Thursday night - need to go arrange an doc’s appointment for that.

Even so, I’d say this is probably the best start to an academic year I’ve ever had.

And they let me into 4th year - the fools!

Starting my game tomorrow - or at least the character gen. Should be lots of fun.

Cheap, good quality ear plugs. I use them and they're wonderful. They stop the sore ears and partial deafness afterwards and with them in I can actually make out the lyrics. It reduces the distortion.

Ouch. Yep, trip to the docs is your best bet.
Sorry about assuming you weren't wearing protection. With the exception of the occasional DJ, you're the only person I know apart from myself who wears earplugs.

HWUSA provides them free to volunteers and staff who want them. Since we were going to be in a loud venue selling merch, we figured they'd be a good idea :)
