I like birthdays - everyone takes a bit of the day to say happy birthday to me :) - I'm going to have one every month.

after much deliberation...

Have been stood outside in the cold for the last nearly 2 hours.
Because a stupid alarm went off.
The CO detector went off for 5-10 minutes then stopped. Me and Sam got some clothes and shoes on and went and stood outside after opening various windows and doors and stuff.
Then we phoned the helpline who said an engineer would be round in around an hour. Joy!
The engineer turned up, couldn't find any problems with CO or the detector but did find a gas leak. So the gas is cut off till someone can fix.
So my soup is half-cooked and will remain that way indefinitely. There's no heating cos it's gas heating. And I have like no food that doesn't need a cooker.
JOOOOY!!!
