Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow.
Jan. 13th, 2010 09:45 pm
So I've decided I'm cutting my hair. It's not been cut for over five and a half years, and I'm donating it all to charity. Not only that, but I'm taking donations for charity as well. The basic principle is this: for every hundred pounds donated, I'll delay cutting my hair for a month to allow for even more money to be raised. And when the donations stop coming in, or they reach the first day of a month without having reached the £100 threshold, then I'll get my hair cut.
The money's going to Cancer Research UK. The hair's going to the Little Princess Trust who’ll use it to make real-hair wigs for children suffering hair loss from cancer treatments.
Please help as you can.

Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow.
Dec. 20th, 2009 06:43 pmOK, so here's the deal. I've gotten to a point where I want to cut my hair. Cut it all the way back. Boom! No more long hair for Yoda.
But, thing is, I know a lot of my friends like my hair. I know even more are generous and like helping out charities, so I'm going to take advantage of that.
For every hundred pounds donated, I'll delay cutting my hair by a month. I was planning to get it cut in the new year, but then I came up with this idea. So, already I'm delaying it till February.
What this means, is that if there's £100 donated by the 1st of February, then I won't get it cut till March. If it hits £200 by 1st of March, it'll be April. Get the idea?
I'll be looking for hairdressers that can help me donate the hair to charity as well, so that's another way we'll be helping.
So, yeh. If you want to help out Cancer Research UK, or you just don't want me to cut my hair, then please donate.
